Grey's Battalion

Grey's Division of Light Infantry is a combined force comprised of the light companies of the , 4th Regiment of Foot, 20th Regiment of Foot, 29th Regiment of Foot, the 64th Regiment of Foot and the Dismounted Company of 16th "Queen's" Light Dragoons.
These five companies field together under one command at RW events and provide the British army with a light infantry battalion which uses a common drill manual and common sense of purpose to bring a larger body of light infantry against the enemy that would be otherwise achieved by five diverse and disparate units.
Over the past few years this division has honed its' skills and ability to maneuver to bring to the battlefield an impression of a light infantry division that can advance before the main force, protect the flanks and cover the rear by using proper 18th century British infantry tactics and maneuver.
